Wall Street’s main indexes opened lower and headed towards June lows as investors worried about the possibility of an economic downturn.
The Dow Jones fell 121.03 points, or 0.40 percent, to 29,955.65 at the open. The S&P 500 fell 30.85 points, or 0.82 percent, to 3,727.14 points, while the Nasdaq fell 114.11 points, or 1.03 percent, to 10,952.69 points.
