Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank spoke at the opening ceremony of the Anatolian Lions Businessmen Association (ASKON) Adıyaman Branch.
Minister Mustafa Varank, who was charged with the opposition, stated that they were criticized as “The AK Party did not open even one factory in 20 years, the industry was completely over during the AK Party time” and said:
“But do you know what they are thinking when they say this? They think that states and governments are still establishing factories in the world. They think that if printing factories work in Sümerbank, Turkey can come somewhere. Currently, 500 of those Sümerbank printing factories are operating in Turkey. Our private sector exports them to the world. We pave the way for the private sector and give them the necessary infrastructure and incentives. We will develop Turkey in the best possible way. Gone are the days when that state established a factory. The times when the state established a factory and employed 3 people where one person worked and turned the factories into barnyards. “The private sector will do these things.”
