To the Economic Coordination Board convened at the Presidential Complex under the chairmanship of Vice President Fuat Oktay;

In the written statement made after the meeting, which lasted approximately 5 hours, it was stated that the current outlook and expectations regarding the Turkish economy, as well as the developments in domestic and foreign financing were evaluated, and the studies within the scope of the preparation process of the Medium Term Program (2023-2025), which is expected to be shared with the public in the coming period, were emphasized. The statement noted:

“The outlook and future potential trends of our country’s energy sector have been evaluated, taking into account the developments at the global level, including the recent course of crude oil and natural gas prices. In addition, the implementation results of the decisions taken at the previous EKK meetings were reviewed, and the supportive steps to be taken in this context were reviewed.

Finally, the ‘Protocol on Cooperation and Data Sharing in the Field of Technology and R&D Activities’, which will form the basis for studies that will attract qualified human resources and investments to our country, was signed between the Ministry of Labor and Social Security and the Ministry of Industry and Technology.”
