TFF Arbitration Board announced that Galatasaray’s Italian football player Nicolo Zaniolo’s 2-game suspension was upheld.
The fines of Galatasaray President Dursun Özbek and Fenerbahçe President Ali Koç remained unchanged.
The statement from TFF is as follows;
“The objections of Galatasaray A.Ş. and club president Dursun Aydın Özbek to the PFDK’s decision dated 11.05.2023 and numbered E.2022-2023/959 – K.2022-2023/1203 were examined. As a result of the negotiations;
– In the punishment of Galatasaray A.Ş. with a fine of 100.000,00 TL in accordance with Articles 36/1-d and 13 of the FDT due to the unsportsmanlike act in the statement made on the official website of the club, in terms of proof, legal qualification and determination of the penalty. Since it was understood that there was no misconduct, the application was rejected and the decision was approved unanimously,
– Galatasaray A.Ş. President Dursun Aydın Özbek, due to the unsportsmanlike act in the statement made on the club’s official website, FDT’s 36/1-d, 36/2., 35/4. Since it has been understood that there is no wrongdoing in the punishment of him with a fine of 100.000,00 TL in accordance with the articles of art.
Kayserispor Futbol A.Ş.’s objection to PFDK’s decision dated 11.05.2023 and numbered E.2022-2023/960 – K.2022-2023/1198 regarding its chairman, Ali Çamlı, was examined. As a result of the negotiation;
– Due to the statements made by Ali Çamlı, the chairman of Kayserispor Futbol A.Ş., about the referee and other match officials in the post made on the club’s social media account, FDT’s 38/3., 38/2. Since it was understood that there was no wrongdoing in the punishment of him with a fine of 100.000,00 TL in accordance with Articles and 13.

– Due to field incidents caused by Fenerbahçe Futbol A.Ş.’s fans, 52/2 of FDT. Since it was understood that there was no misconduct in terms of the legal characterization and determination of the penalty, the application was rejected and the decision was approved, unanimously,
– Due to the ugly and bad cheers caused by Fenerbahçe Futbol A.Ş.’s supporters, and because this action was carried out for the 12th time in the same season as the guest club, 53/2 of FDT. 53/3 of FDT is punished with a fine of 310,000,00 TL in accordance with the article.
