The General Directorate of Electoral Roll prepared statistics on the number of voters, participation rates and election results in the 14 May elections.

The number of voters reached 64 million 145 thousand 504 in the first round of the presidential elections on 14 May and in the 28th Term Parliamentary Elections.
In the 14 May elections, the number of female voters exceeded the number of male voters. In this election period, 32 million 318 thousand 956 female and 31 million 826 thousand 548 male voters took part.
In the General Elections for the President and the 28th Term, 191,885 ballot boxes were set up across the country.
55 million 833 thousand 153 out of 64 million 145 thousand 504 registered voters voted in the elections. Thus, the voter turnout rate was recorded as 87.04 percent. Of the votes cast, 54 million 796 thousand 49 were deemed valid and 1 million 37 thousand 104 were deemed invalid.
VOTE DISTRIBUTION OF THE PRESIDENT CANDIDATES
Among the presidential candidates, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan received 27 million 133 thousand 849 votes, Muharrem İnce 235 thousand 783, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu 24 million 595 thousand 178 and Sinan Ogan 2 million 831 thousand 239 votes. Erdoğan’s vote rate was 49.52 percent, İnce’s vote rate was 0.43 percent, Kılıçdaroğlu’s vote rate was 44.88 percent, and Ogan’s vote rate was 5.17 percent.
The three provinces where Erdogan received the highest votes were Istanbul, Ankara and Bursa, respectively. Kılıçdaroğlu, on the other hand, received the highest votes in İstanbul, İzmir and Ankara, respectively.
The provinces with the highest participation rates in the elections were Düzce, Amasya and Manisa, respectively. The participation rate in Düzce was 92.34 percent, while the participation rate in Amasya was 92.20 percent and 92.06 percent in Manisa. It was determined that the three provinces with the lowest participation rates were Ağrı, Bingöl and Muş.
