Gunmen kidnapped a girl in Quevedo, a South American country of Ecuador. In the security camera footage released at the time of the incident, it was seen that the vehicle in which 3 female students were getting on to go to school was stopped by another vehicle with armed attackers.
‘THEY MISSED THE WRONG PERSON’
The 3 attackers, who got out of the vehicle, took the 12-year-old girl from the car at gunpoint and put her in the vehicle. According to local media reports, the attackers released the girl hours later on the grounds that they had kidnapped the wrong person.
While the identities of the attackers were not disclosed, an investigation was launched into the incident.
