Five suspects were arrested in the investigation.
An arrest warrant was issued for 2 more people who were considered to be related to the incident. After the suspects were taken into custody in Istanbul, they jumped out of the vehicle in Kocaeli while being taken to the Zonguldak police station.
Both suspects were seriously injured. One died in the hospital he was taken to. The other is under treatment.
An investigation has been launched into the suspects jumping out of the vehicle. 2 policemen and 1 guard in the team car were arrested.
