Manchester United’s star player Antony was recently excluded from the Brazilian National Team due to allegations that he assaulted his ex-girlfriend. The Brazilian player broke his silence: “Violence against women is completely wrong, 100 percent wrong. I have a mother and a sister. I would never want this to happen to them.” He denied the accusations with his statements.
Manchester United’s Antony appeared on Brazilian television to deny allegations that he attacked his girlfriend. Antony was left out of the Brazilian National Team earlier this week following initial allegations made by his ex-girlfriend Gabriela Cavalin. Speaking to SBT channel broadcasting in Brazil, Antony denied the allegations and said that the truth would come out.
“I HAVE A MOTHER AND A SISTER, I DON’T WANT THIS TO HAPPEN TO THEM” When asked if he had ever assaulted a woman, Antony replied: “Never. I never have and I never will.” he replied.
The Brazilian attacker said, “Violence against women is completely wrong, 100 percent wrong. I have a mother and a sister. I would never want this to happen to them.” he said.
According to reports in various media, De Freitas reported the alleged incident to the Sao Paulo Civil Police.
IT WAS ALLEGED THAT HE PRESSURED HIM FOR A RELATIONSHIP WITHOUT CONSENT Another woman, Ingrid Lana, also claimed in a television interview that she was pressured by Antony to have sex without her consent during a business trip to England last year. Lana claimed Antony invited her to his home and pushed her against the wall, causing her to hit her head.
“I UNDERSTAND THAT HE HAD ARTIFICIAL INTENTIONS” Lana tried to hook up with me and I didn’t want it. He pushed me against the wall and I hit my head. My purpose was only business. “When I got there at his invitation, I realized he had ulterior motives,” she said.
“I WILL REVEAL THE EVIDENCE AND PEOPLE WILL SEE THE TRUTH” Antony said the following about Lana’s accusation in his interview: “I am 100 percent sure that I have not touched any woman. 100 percent. Absolutely sure. I will put forward the evidence and people will understand. They will see the truth.” said. Manchester United said earlier this week that they were taking the initial allegations seriously. Manchester Police are investigating the ex-girlfriend’s claims.
