Post-war Iran’s oil revenue doubled

While it was stated that the nuclear agreement negotiations with the European Union (EU) were coming to an end, a remarkable statement came from Iran. Iranian Economy Minister Ihsan Handuzi “In the last 5 months compared to last year, the country’s income from oil has increased 5 times.” used the phrase.

According to ISNA, Handuzi gave information about the developments in the country’s economy in the capital, Tehran, and stated that foreign capital investments in the country have doubled in the last year.

Handuzi noted that the economic plans were made taking into account the continuation or ending of the sanctions imposed by the USA.

Three years after the US nuclear deal signed in 2015, some economic sanctions were imposed on Iran, including limiting oil sales.
