INTEGRATION PROCESS HAS BEEN COMPLETED
Minister Uraloğlu said, “Technical infrastructure processes have been completed in Konya. The new airport metro line integration in Istanbul is also ready. The contract process with Kayseri Metropolitan, Yozgat and Gümüşhane Municipalities has been completed. In line with the Presidential Annual Program, our goal is to launch the project in 6 provinces by the end of 2023. The umbrella contract processes for the commissioning of Türkiye Kart in all rail systems operated by TCDD and TCDD Taşımacılık continue. Post-contract integration processes will be initiated on GAZİRAY, BAŞKENTRAY and İZBAN lines. We aim to expand the project by including other municipalities and operators in the system in the future. Türkiye Card Project will bring a significant transformation to the transportation sector. “Our citizens will be able to carry out transportation and payment transactions more easily, quickly and effectively,” he said.

Turkey Card, which will be used in 6 provinces at the end of the year, can be used in public transportation, POS and ATM devices, municipal fees and tax payments, parking payments, contracted workplaces, taxi payments, food and beverage vending machines.
