A statement has been made for Lionel Messi, who has come to the end of his contract with Paris Saint-Germain and is shown in Al Hilal as one of his possible new stops.
Yasser Al-Misehal, President of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, said that he did not know about the Al Hilal allegations for Messi, but would like to see the Argentine star in Arabia.
Al-Misehal said, “To be honest, I have no knowledge of the Al Hilal transfer. But I personally would like to see Messi in the Saudi Arabian League, of course. This transfer will complete the big leap we made with Cristiano Ronaldo.”
The Argentine star, who has made 40 appearances for PSG this season, scored 21 goals and provided 20 assists.
