NATO Secretary General is in Istanbul: Stoltenberg, who met with President Erdogan, makes a statement

The meeting between President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Stoltenberg started at 14.00 at the Dolmabahçe Labor Office.

“I always stress the importance of making progress on Sweden’s accession,” NATO Secretary General said in a statement this week. He said that it was possible to reach a solution, and that it was possible for Sweden to become a NATO member until the Vilnius Summit.
