The “Arctic Challenge 2023” exercise hosted by Finland, Sweden and Norway continues.

NATO’s newest member, Finland, has launched military air exercises involving more than a dozen countries and a total of 150 aircraft, weeks after the country joined the alliance following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

The exercise will take about two weeks. Soldiers and warplanes from 14 countries, 12 of which are NATO members, are participating in the exercise. The warplanes participating in the exercise are also flying in the northern regions of Sweden.
