The MG brand is approaching its centennial. The automaker continues to make history with its high sales figures outside of its home country, China. MG’s sales outside of China have exceeded one million since 2007. This accounts for about half of total MG sales. MG became “China’s Single Brand Overseas Sales Champion” for the third consecutive year thanks to its strong research and development capabilities and strong market operations. This title is a strong testament to MG’s global organization and brand equity built over the years. Today, MG sells its vehicles in 84 countries around the world.
New Crossover is coming
The British automobile brand MG, whose Turkey distributorship is undertaken by Doğan Trend Automotive, continues to rise successfully by increasing its concentration on electric vehicles after it was acquired by Chinese Saic in 2007. The brand, which has a history of nearly 100 years, always responds to consumer needs and acts boldly in change, displaying a young and dynamic stance. MG made a rapid entry into 2022, increasing its sales in our country by 35 percent in the first 6 months of the year compared to the previous year. Aiming to increase its sales figures much higher with 3 new models that will join the family this year, MG will also step into the C crossover segment with the addition of MG4 to its product range at the beginning of 2023.
