Mehmet Büyükekşi, President of the Turkish Football Federation (TFF), met with the fans in the “fan zone” (fan zone) established before the National Team’s match against Armenia in the UEFA 2024 European Championship Qualification Group D.
Addressing the fans in the field in Eskişehir Governorship Square, TFF President Büyükekşi invited the fans to the stadium and to the screen to support the national team.
Referring to the importance of Eskişehir for the national team, Büyükekşi said:
“Eskişehir is a very important football city. I see bright young people. We are proud of you. You are the stars of the future. You are the pride of our country. I hope you will achieve great success in the near future like your brothers here. Whatever you do, make sure you do your best. Our footballers are also the best. They are in the national team for what they have done. We are proud of them. I hope we will get a very good result tomorrow with your support and prayers. I thank you all.”
