Argentina’s Mauricio Pochettino has been appointed as the manager of Chelsea, one of the English Premier League teams.
In the statement made by the club, it was stated that a two-season agreement was reached with the 51-year-old coach, effective from 1 July, and there is a one-year option clause in the contract.
Pochettino, who previously coached Southampton and Tottenham in the Premier League, won the league and French Cup championships with the French representative Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), whom he took office in 2021.
Despite making big-budget transfers, Chelsea, which was far from the success it targeted this season, finished the league in the 12th place with 44 points.
