There has been an important development regarding the regulation on Aged Retirement (EYT).

Speaking during his visit to Hak-İş, Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Bilgin said that they have reached the solution stage in the EYT study.

Bilgin said, “We will share that file with the Turkish public on the day we complete it, through a press conference or in another way. Urgent problems should not be postponed.”

“90 THOUSAND SUBCONTRACTOR WORK IS COMPLETE”

Bilgin announced that the work on the recruitment of 90 thousand subcontracted workers in the public sector has been completed.

“WE WILL REASSESS THE MINIMUM WAGE IN DECEMBER”

Minister Bilgin noted that they will reevaluate the minimum wage according to the inflation table in December.

“WE ARE TALKING ABOUT THE TAX PROBLEM”

Minister Bilgin also evaluated the tax bracket problem of employees.

Bilgin said, “We have meetings with the Ministry of Treasury and Finance. This volatility in taxation needs to be corrected. I would like to state that we have a positive approach on this issue.”

Bilgin added that the problem with temporary workers will also be resolved.
