Eskişehir’s thirteenth Nationalist Martyr Gün SAZAK was born in 1932 in Ankara. His father is Emin SAZAK from Sazak Village of Mihalıççık District of Eskişehir. He completed his primary and secondary education in Ankara. He studied high school in Ankara Maarif College. He completed his education in California by studying agriculture. He established a construction company and built many important facilities of our country.
He joined the Nationalist Movement Party in 1971 and entered politics. He continued to serve as Vice President. He became the Minister of Customs and Monopoly in 1977. During his ministry, he had a very successful fight against smuggling. After his ministry, he was shot in the back in front of his house in Ankara on May 27, 1980 and was martyred. His grave is in Eskişehir Mihalıççık Sazak Village.
