Ibrahim Kutluay’s heir apparent: Ömer Kutluay

Ömer Kutluay, son of former national basketball player İbrahim Kutluay, one of the most career athletes in Turkish sports, follows in his father’s footsteps.

Omer Kutluay, who played for Anadolu Efes and won the U14 Junior Men’s Basketball Turkey Championship organized by the Turkish Basketball Federation in Samsun, scored 36 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists in the final match.

Wearing the number 10 jersey like his father, Ömer Kutluay was selected as the most valuable player of the tournament. He also managed to enter the top five and finished the tournament as the scorer.
