Research on when the KGM worker recruitment draw will take place has gained momentum. After the applications from İŞKUR ended, eyes were turned to the date of the KGM recruitment draw. In order to announce the results of the General Directorate of Highways (KGM) recruitment of 3 thousand workers, a lottery will be drawn first. In the statement made by KGM, “Sent by İŞKUR; Among the applicants, the number of main workers and the number of substitute workers that will be needed will be determined by lot. KGM recruitment will be in the branches of 288 Workshop Assistant Masters, 249 Building and Property Caregivers, 631 Flat Workers and 374 Skilled Workers. Employees to be recruited will be subject to a 2-month probationary period.
WHEN IS KGM WORKER PURCHASE DRAWING A LOT?
The following statements were included in the announcement regarding the date of the KGM draw:
02/05/2023 – 08/05/2023 for the recruitment of 3,000 permanent workers in accordance with the provisions of the “Regulation on the Procedures and Principles to be Applied to the Public Institutions and Organizations”, which was issued pursuant to the Labor Law No. 4857 for the central and provincial organization service units of our institution. Applications were received by İŞKUR on the basis of province and profession.
Permanent workers to be recruited are among the applicants notified by İŞKUR, including the priority ones, as per the Article 12 of the Regulation on the Procedures and Principles to be Applied in Recruiting Workers for Public Institutions and Organizations, as the number of vacant jobs (number of announced positions) and 3 times the original number. In addition, the substitute candidate will be determined by our General Directorate directly by notary drawing, without being subjected to an examination.
The placement process for the original and 3 times the original number as well as the number of positions announced according to provinces and professions, by drawing lots, will be made in the presence of a notary public with the drawing program of the Notaries Union of Turkey. On 30-31 May 2023 It will be held in the conference hall of our General Directorate. (A limited number of spectators (maximum 500 participants/desire) will be accepted to the notary drawing as much as the capacity of the hall.)
The results of the draw will be announced on the website https://www.kgm.gov.tr/Sayfalar/KGM/SiteTr/Root/Duyurular.aspx after the notary approval. The drawing of lots will be made in order according to the traffic codes of the provinces, by recording them separately for each province and profession.
The provinces that will be drawn on May 30, 2023 (Tuesday):
Adana, Adiyaman, Afyonkarahisar, Agri, Amasya, Ankara, Antalya, Artvin, Aydin, Balikesir, Bilecik, Bingol, Bitlis, Bolu, Burdur, Bursa, Canakkale, Cankiri, Corum, Denizli, Diyarbakir, Edirne, Elazig, Erzincan, Erzurum, Eskisehir, Gaziantep, Giresun, Gumushane, Hakkari, Hatay, Isparta, Mersin, Istanbul, Izmir, Kars. (The lottery will be drawn in sequence according to the provincial traffic code, starting with the province of Adana at 10:00, and will be completed by drawing for the province of Kars at the last.)
The provinces that will be drawn on May 31, 2023 (Wednesday):
Kastamonu, Kayseri, Kırklareli, Kırşehir, Kocaeli, Konya, Kütahya, Malatya, Manisa, Kahramanmaraş, Mardin, Muğla, Muş, Nevşehir, Niğde, Ordu, Rize, Sakarya, Samsun, Siirt, Sinop, Sivas, Tekirdağ, Tokat, Trabzon, Tunceli, Şanlıurfa, Uşak, Van, Yozgat, Zonguldak, Aksaray, Bayburt, Karaman, Kırıkkale, Batman, Şırnak, Bartin, Ardahan, Iğdır, Karabük, Osmaniye, Düzce. (The lottery will be drawn in sequence according to the provincial traffic code, starting with Kastamonu at 10:00, and will be completed by drawing for the province of Düzce last.)
