Here are the most searched ‘words’ on Google after the election

Turkey went to the polls on May 28 for the second round of the Presidential Election. According to unofficial results, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan was re-elected President.

The election agenda was also reflected on social media and the internet. According to Google Trends data, the most popular searches in Turkey after the Presidential elections emerged.

On 28 and 29 May ‘Elections in Turkey’ search ranked first in many countries. Some of these countries are; Russia, Germany, Greece and Saudi Arabia.

This search also ranked high in the US, UK, Switzerland, Italy and Ukraine.

The number of people who searched ‘Erdogan’ on Google in the world ranked high. ‘Erdogan’ Most searched countries; Belgium, the Czech Republic, Finland, the Netherlands, Sweden and Hungary.
