Forest fire in Izmir is under control

The forest fire that broke out in Torbalı district of Izmir was taken under control in 1.5 hours with air and land intervention.

According to the information received, a fire broke out in the forest area in Taşkesik District of Torbalı district. 4 aircraft, 6 helicopters, 24 water tankers, 4 water supply vehicles and 4 dozers affiliated with the Regional Directorate of Forestry were directed to the region. The fire was controlled in 1.5 hours with air and land intervention. It was reported that cooling efforts are continuing.
