A fire broke out in the forest near Taşkesik District at around 14.30. People around reported the situation to forestry teams.
4 planes, 6 helicopters, 24 water tankers, 4 water supply vehicles and 4 bulldozers belonging to the Izmir Regional Directorate of Forestry were dispatched to the region. Teams are fighting the flames from the air and land.
