At the Economic Coordination Board (EKK) meeting chaired by Vice President Fuat Oktay, evaluations were made regarding the macroeconomic framework and budget sizes in the Medium Term Program (MTP) covering the 2023-2025 period.
Economy Coordination Board meeting was chaired by Vice President Fuat Oktay, Treasury and Finance Minister Nureddin Nebati, Labor and Social Security Minister Vedat Bilgin, Energy and Natural Resources Minister Fatih Dönmez, Agriculture and Forestry Minister Vahit Kirişci, Trade Minister Mehmet Muş, Presidential Strategy and Budget Head It was held at the Presidential Complex at 13.30 with the participation of İbrahim Şenel and the representatives of the relevant institutions. After the meeting, which was closed to the press, a written statement was made.
In the statement, it was stated that the current outlook and expectations for the future period were discussed in the context of the trends in the global economy and economic-financial developments in the country.

“The macroeconomic framework and budget sizes in the MTP covering the 2023-2025 period have been evaluated by the members of the Board, and the policies in the MTP have been elaborated. Maintaining the will to take technology-based production steps decisively in line with the goal of rapid growth on the production-employment-investment-export-current surplus axis, including policy mechanisms where all our citizens can get a fairer share from the welfare that will result from high-level production, combating climate change The issues of prioritizing the policy steps to be taken towards green transformation in the medium term were evaluated within the scope of the meeting. In addition, the macro projections in the MTP were finalized to be submitted to our President. A plan has been made to complete it in accordance with the schedule and put it into practice.
