New Delhi(DL): In front of the Bihar(BR) Assembly elections, the Election Commission of India(In) (EC) released instructions for holding a ‘free, fair, & safe election’ amidst the COVID-19 epidemic.
“The Election Commission of India(In) is dedicated to holding a free, fair, & safe election to the Legislative Assembly of Bihar(BR) before the cessation of its term,” an announcement from that EC stated on Fri., adding that it’d instructed the Bihar(BR) election machinery to make sure a smooth, efficient, inclusive & time-bound completion of the Special Summary Revision of Electoral Rolls to make sure maximum registration of un-enrolled residents.
“Special measures have been made to identify the crucial gaps within the electoral rolls & targetted SVEEP operations have been carried out to address them,” it added further.

Election Commission of India(In) on Fri. declared that the Bihar(BR) Assembly elections going to be conducted in 3 stages with polling to take (2) place on Oct 28, & Nov three & 7, & the counting of votes to take (2) place on Nov 10.
The Assembly elections for 243 seats in Bihar(BR) are due in Oct-Nov & the tenure of the current Assembly is planned to end on Nov 29.
