“ELECTION SECURITY IS NOT A TECHNOLOGY, IT IS A HUMAN RESOURCE ISSUE”

“The CHP’s last camp in the opposition, as MPs. Our next camp; Adıgüzel said:

We coordinate our work in the field with our digital infrastructure. How does it work? There are home visits, work done by our women’s and youth branches. We want them to be data-driven. We draw roadmaps with them. We intensify our work in areas where we are weak. We apply a performance appraisal to them. Today, we will explain this in the first part of our presentation. The second stage is the election security side of it after the votes are filled in the ballot box. There, too, our deputies have a carrier power. They know their area very well. There, human resource is our first priority. Election security is not a technology, it is a human resource issue. Our work has been continuing since July of 2021. We started to make our assignments based on the number of ballot boxes and schools in the 2018 elections. We created a pool. We scan the people in that pool one by one. Do they accept the assignment? Do these people really exist? Do they live in that area? Are the phone numbers correct? We ask these questions, we ask them one-on-one by telephone. There, we continue to use the software we used in 2018-2019 by updating it further, preparing it for the new period. We are continuing our training to use this more widely.

“EVERY BOOSTER WILL HAVE AT LEAST ONE CHP, BUT AT LEAST TWO NATIONAL ALLIANCE MEMBER”

Adıgüzel said, “Election day is not fast, but we will ensure that the right results meet with our citizens. Because one of our issues is that AA does not give confidence. Due to this, the lack of a citizen’s data source. For this, we are working on a table of six. We will not be as fast as AA, but if you remember the Istanbul elections, we will follow the YSK closely and even be one step ahead of the YSK, with the finalized results,” he said.

I see that with a much better work and assignment than in 2018 and 2019, we will be on the field in the 2023 elections with almost double the team. With the mutual solidarity of the six-table, we will cooperate in the areas where we are lacking. We say that each ballot box will have at least one CHP member but at least two Nation Alliance members.”
