Arvind Kejriwal and Gautam Gambhir’s clash over Covid-19 fund. Don’t need money, says CM

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday said cash isn’t a issue but the access to protective gear for health care employees is later BJP parliamentarian Gautam Gambhir accused of not accepting Rs 50 lakh from his MPLADS fund to resist the outbreak, the Delhi authorities.

At a tweet, Gambhir, an East Delhi MP, said the”enormous egos” of Kejriwal along with his deputy Manish Sisodia didn’t enable them to take Rs 50 lakh from his regional Area Development finance.

“CM @ArvindKejriwal & his Dy say funds are necessary. I vow 50 L Even though their egos did not enable them to take50 L out of my LAD finance before! 1 CR would solve urgent demand for masks &PPE kits Hope they prioritize Delhi,” Gambhir tweeted.

Responding to this, Kejriwal stated, “Gautam ji, thank u for ur offer. The issue is not of money but also the access to PPE kits. We wud be grateful if u cud help us buy them out of instantly, Del govt will purchase them. Thank u.”

Gambhir inquired where would they be sent and answered back stating he’s secured 1,000 PPE kits. In addition, he told Kejriwal this is no time but act.
