Notary publics, which are used for many different transactions such as notary approval, issuing and receiving power of attorney, transfer transactions, are closed on weekends. So, what is the situation in these institutions on public holidays?

August 30, 2022 Victory Day official holiday will coincide with Tuesday this year. Notaries will be closed on Tuesday due to a public holiday. For this reason, people who do not complete their transactions at the notary public until the end of the working day on Monday will have to wait for the next trading day, Wednesday.
In addition to notaries, banks, PTT’s and cargo offices will be closed more. Pharmacies will work on duty, hospitals will serve in emergency departments and vaccination departments.
Since the notary on duty application is not included in public holidays, transactions will not be carried out at the notaries on 30 August.
