400-year-old symbol tree fell

Storms and torrential rains were effective in Freetown, the capital of the West African country of Sierra Leone. Hundreds of years of historical trees in the city were felled. The 400-year-old giant cotton tree, which represents freedom for the people of the country, was also shattered in the storm. He announced that parts of the tree would be preserved in a museum.
