In a statement made by the Dutch Ministry of Defense yesterday, it was reported that the condition of one of the soldiers was serious. It was announced that the Indiana police have launched an investigation into the incident.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Service announced that the number of soldiers in serious condition is two.
Speaking to FOX 59, a policeman said that Dutch commandos had argued with a person or persons some time before the incident and they thought that the attack was carried out because of this.
No further explanation was given about the reason for the attacks.
While the identity of the soldiers was not disclosed, it was announced that their families were informed. The Pentagon did not disclose whether any US personnel were involved in the attack.
According to the news in Independent Turkish, no one has been arrested yet.
